An epic day at Quorn Grange Hotel
22nd April 2022
QUORN GRANGE HOTEL, LEICESTERSHIRE
1 Bride, 1 maid of honour, 2 bridesmaids, 1 mother of the bride, 1 mother of the groom, 4 kids, 1 hairstylist, 1 makeup artist and 1 photographer.
Okay, so we were lacking a partridge and a pear tree but that’s still an impressive number of people to fit into one bridal suite at seven in the morning.
Ladies, what a great start to the day this was and I hope these pre-wedding photos do justice to the hectic but hugely fun start to what was a memorable day.
As a well travelled wedding photographer in Leicester, I can certainly recommend Quorn Grange Hotel as a beautiful setting for a wedding. The ceremony, set against the idyllic beauty of the hotel grounds was memorable for so many reasons. Natalie, you and your bridal party looked stunning and when you ‘eventually’ made it down the aisle (never rely on Bluetooth speakers) Mark’s breath looked literally taken away, which maybe explains why he kept getting his lines wrong! There’s a great photo of Natalie bent double because she was laughing so much. I love these priceless little moments.
Your evening reception was fantastic with so many touching highlights including Natalie's mum paying a beautiful tribute to her husband and father of the bride. I obviously never met your Dad but I’m sure he’d have been incredibly proud of you.
The first dance was beautiful and your friends and family were incredibly fun and welcoming. But one of my highlights has to be the shear enthusiasm and gusto shown when you were shoving cake into each other’s faces. It was absolutely hilarious and borderline aggressive. I love it! I couldn’t decide which of these photos was best so I used them all and made a storyboard out of them. I’m thinking above the fireplace in the middle of your living room would be a good spot for this!
This was a long and extremely fun day. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of it and I hope you will look back on these photos and video montage when you’re both old and grey and share a little smile, a laugh and even a tear together.
Congratulations Mark and Natalie.
