Every wedding is unique and Karen & Cec's special day was just that.
Massive congratulations to you both !
This was my first time shooting at The Pitches venue at Hinckley Rugby Club and I can't remember ever seeing such a dramatic transformation. Under normal circumstances, The Pitches is a pretty blank canvas. But Lucy and her team work their magic and do such such an amazing job to transform it into a beautiful and spacious wedding venue.
The ceremony was beautiful, Karen looked stunning and her dress was amazing to photograph. There were so many highlights and emotions throughout the day which made is so special and memorable. The bride and groom wanted a mix of different family groupings mixed with my natural, fun, candid style and I'd like to think that's what I delivered.
Karen, your mum was one of the most incredible people I've met. Her energy, dry humour and awesome dance moves were fantastic and I could have just followed her with my camera all day long. Cecil being subjected to utter humiliation during the best man speech was priceless and some of those reactions from the rest of the top table were a sight to behold and a photographer's dream. The evening reception was memorable and highlight the incredible difference a great DJ can make. In fact, to call Ben Murphy a DJ really doesn't do him justice. He is one of the most talented singers and entertainers I have ever seen in my career as a wedding photographer in Leicester. His singing range is incredible and that, mixed with his off the cuff banter with the guests set a brilliant tone for the whole evening. Ben J Murphy, take a bow you talented devil !!!
Everyone had such a good time and your family and friends are amazing. Less than a week after the wedding I've already taken three bookings from your family members. Looking forward to shooting Vicky & Gary's wedding next year. Also Chloe's wedding to Tom. And finally Sammie & Luke's when they set a date. I'm rapidly becoming your official family photographer.
Karen & Cec, your special day was amazing and I'm proud to have been a part of it to capture the big moments but also the priceless little ones.
